From 4th to 10th November  our students had a pleasure to host a group of exchangestudents from Germany, Greece and Romania as part of the Erasmus+ project “EU4U – electing, living and working as a young person in today’s Europe and in the future”.

The participants met people from the European Parliament and learnt about their roles there. It made them realise how important it is to have the right to vote.

Other than that, there was also time for some fun during the Euro game and the international evening. The exchange students also visited Katowice, Kraków and the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp to learn something about our country and its history.

It was a really great time for all the people who took part in the exchange programme and they definitely won’t forget it.

In 2018 we had a chance to participate in the youth participatory budget for the first time.

Everyone who was backed up by at least 15 other students could put forward their idea.

First, students voted for the best project in school. Next, the special committee chose the best one from all the local schools.

We are very happy to announce that the project made by our student Aneta Machnio won.

The project “KRUCZEK – invests in health” involves lessons about healthy lifestyle, meetings with dietitians and, as the main part, the installation of a drinking fountain in the hall.
