Meetings with school graduates

A series of meetings with Kruczek graduates started today.

This month, form 3 students are to meet the school graduates, either online or in person to find out  what it is like to be a university student, what the recruitment process is about and what changes there are in the graduate job market.

19 Days Campaign

From November 1st to November 19th our school participates in the 19 Days Campaign against violence and childfren & youth’s abuse.

1d1 form students together with their form teacher have made a film about the campaign.

Oxford Debate Tournament

Oxford Debate Tournaments have become the tradition in our school. Due to pandemic, last year’s tournament was cancelled. Fortunately, this year our students could see the debate live. We hope they will feel encouraged to try their best in the debates to come.

Code Week 2021

On 13th October our school held the online meeting with a young programmer – iOS developer. During the meeting with the students our guest talked about carreer opportunities, latest trends in programming and the advantages of working as an IT specialist. The meeting was organised within European Code Week 2021.

Revitalisation of the school yard

We are happy to announce that our school has been given funds to modernise the area around the school yard. The project within community-led participatory budgeting involves growing plants and creating a relaxation zone in the area. Thank you for voting and congratulations to Mr. Jarosław Grabowski and Mr. Marcin Nycz for preparing the project.

Paweł Ścierski Celebrates his Victory

Paweł Ścierski has become Junior Campion of Poland in the MTB Marathon.

As he says he has won the most important race this year and describes it as being very competitive and full of turning points.

He was to take part in another race yet in Wisła the next day but due to his injuries Paweł decided just to celebrate his success.

The champion thanks his family, supporters and friends for all the motivation and support, which contributed to his success.

Best Sportsperson

Our former alumna and current PE teacher Mrs Lucyna Kałek has been voted third best sportsperson in Tychy on the 50th anniversary of ‘GKS’ local sports club.

Overseas Teacher Training Courses

Seven of our teachers took part in summer courses within European Union project PO WER called

“ICT – Innovative, Creative and Competent Teachers mean Successful Students”.

Mrs Iwona Pająk-Szydlak and Mr Jan Ryl completed the course ‘Tablets and Smartphones: Using

Mobile Devices as Educational Tools” in Barcelona.

Mrs Agnieszka Gemborys took part in a two-week-course in Dublin called “21st Century Teaching:

Competence-Based Education, Soft Skills and Creativity”.

Mrs Agnieszka Drong, Mrs Małgorzata Pszczółka, Mrs Katarzyna Ścisłowicz and Mrs Iwona Wrzos-

Stefan took a course in Reykjavik “Information and Communication Technologies,Web Application,

Social Networks and Online Tools for  New Education.
