Marta Dawidowska’s Scientific Success

Marta Dawidowska, a third-year student, has been accepted into the Tutor Educational Program at the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice.

In the 2025/2026 academic year, Marta will be pursuing a research project at the Medical University of Silesia: “Can a Well-Known Diabetes Drug Have Anticancer Effects?” The Effect of Metformin on the Viability of Malignant Melanoma Cells – In Vitro Studies.

She will conduct her research under the supervision of Dr. Agnieszka Synowiec-Wojtarowicz, MD, from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
