Educational trip to Wroclaw

On March 19, a group of volunteers from the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum in Oświęcim took part in an educational trip to Wrocław. This trip was a reward for their work during the 80th anniversary of the liberation of KL Auschwitz.

The participants explored the beauty of Wrocław while following the traces of the pre-war and post-war Jewish community. They visited the Jewish cemetery and the White Stork Synagogue, located in the District of Four Denominations (also known as the District of Mutual Respect). Their guide for the day was Tamara Włodarczyk.

The trip was organized by the International Center for Education about Auschwitz and the Holocaust. Special thanks go to Mrs. Katarzyna Marcak, head of the Volunteering Office.
