On November 20, 2023, students of 1c and 3c had the opportunity to see an extraordinary exhibition on human anatomy – Body Worlds. First, a walk through the unique urban and social complex that is Nikiszowiec, followed by a visit to the former Wilson shaft, which in our time has become a modern exhibition space. We saw a historic mining estate and places where the lives of mining families passed. However, we spent the most time visiting the exhibition presenting plastinates of human bodies by Professor Gunther von Hagens. Students had the opportunity to learn about the changes in the human body – from conception to old age. The exhibits, multimedia installations and information provided by the guides allowed them to discover the mysteries and riddles of the human body. In addition to a lively lesson in anatomy, we had the opportunity to reflect on the condition of our health and look at our body from a completely different perspective.
