We’re changing schools together! Activity in Tychy pays off!

This is the motto of the second edition of the Youth Participation Budget – a programme thanks to which each student may submit a project which, provided that it is consistent with the activities of the school and technically feasible at school, can be implemented in it.

Three projects were submitted to this year’s edition of the Youth Participation Budget in the 1st High School: “Medialny Kruczek” by Paweł Kurzawski and Mirosław Przybulski from class 3d2, “Comfortable break” by Zuzanna Robaszewska from class 2d1 and “EkoKruczek” by Marta Czembor and Emilia Metrycka from class 2d1 and Beniamin Bożek from class 1c.

On October 31, 20119, the students of our school took part in a vote which, in their opinion, selected the most attractive project. The largest number of votes – 218 was won by “EkoKruczek”. The projects “Medialny Kruczek” and “Comfortable Break” – 158 points each.

The winning project involves a number of ecological activities, including the purchase of recyclable waste baskets in the school building and the purchase of reusable bottles for students, a school competition for the logo of the project to be placed on the bottles and the preparation and conduct of ecological workshops for students by the originators and invited guests.

Congratulations to the authors of the project!
