On Thursday, 28 March, an inter-school Oxford Debate Competition was held in the Tychy Media Library. Our school was represented by a team prepared by Prof. Lucyna Staniczek and consisted of Agnieszka Rybicka, Paulina Stasieczek, Daria Socha and Paulina Miszczak. The girls debated twice, with two different teams, on two different topics. The first debate was about the benefits of the Internet for human development. During the second debate we competed with II L.O., wondering whether it would be better to build a stadium or a library. Both games were won by a team from Kruczek with a score of 5:0. Our teammates gave their best, they were very well prepared, which was appreciated by the jury. Thanks to such a good result, the team from Kruczek moved to the second, final stage of the Oxford debates, which will take place on 30 April. We keep our fingers crossed for the girls and wish them good luck!
